Nuitée fare data pulled September 30, 2026: one-way, one adult, USD, taxes included. We searched every Tuesday and Saturday from October 2026 to August 2027 plus full weeks in November, January, March and July, so other weekdays in the remaining months may be cheaper than shown.
When to book
Because monthly fares were so flat, the dates to book early are the holidays: $722 on November 21, $383 on December 19 and $603 on December 26 were already loaded when we searched on September 30. For other dates there was little to gain from any particular month, and comparing days of the week mattered more. One snapshot can't show how these fares move as departure gets closer, so we will re-check this route and update the data.

Direct Flights from Los Angeles to Cabo San Lucas vs Connecting

Schedules as listed in Nuitée's fare data for the dates we searched; departure times are Los Angeles local time. We don't list arrival times because some Cabo arrival times in the data were an hour off on winter dates, so confirm them when you book.
One pricing quirk: American sells seats on some of Alaska's nonstops, but its listings started at $303 against $184 when Alaska sold its own, so book Alaska-operated flights with Alaska. And a connection via Mexico City means clearing Mexican immigration and customs there instead of in Cabo.
Baggage by fare
Every airline's cheapest fare on this route includes a carry-on but no checked bag. American's Main Plus ($314) was the only economy fare in our data with a checked bag included; on the others, including Delta's Comfort fares and Alaska's Main ($242), budget for the bag fee. Checked bags otherwise came only with first-class and premium fares.
