The best all-inclusive resort in Cabo San Lucas is Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos, rated 9.2/10 across 925 guest reviews and priced from $337 a night for two, all meals and drinks included. The highest guest score belongs to The Ridge at Playa Grande at 9.4, from $384. For an all-inclusive on a beach you can actually swim at, Pueblo Bonito Rose on Medano Beach is the pick, and also the cheapest in the top ten from $240. For families, Hard Rock Hotel Los Cabos has the strongest kids' programme, from $478.

We ranked the ten by guest score weighted for review volume (the formula is at the end of this guide) and priced every all-inclusive rate live for the same stay, two adults for three nights, on five check-in dates from October 2026 to February 2027. This is the question that matters most, and the answer depends entirely on which resort you book. We priced every resort's cheapest all-inclusive rate against its cheapest room-only or breakfast rate on the same five dates, and the ten split cleanly into three groups.

Where the all-inclusive rate is effectively free

At the resorts built around the all-inclusive format (Grand Fiesta Americana, The Ridge, Hard Rock and the three Pueblo Bonito properties), the room-only rate is priced at, above or within a few dollars of the all-inclusive rate. We checked this on every date, not just one. At these six, booking room-only saves you at most $4 a night, so if you are choosing between them, compare them as all-inclusive resorts and ignore the room rate.

Where the plan has to earn its price

Solmar, Casa Dorada and Playa Grande call themselves optional all-inclusive, and they price it that way. At Solmar and Casa Dorada the plan adds $122 to $213 a night, so it pays only if two of you would spend more than that a day on food and drink. At Playa Grande the plan costs about three times the room rate, $382 to $561 more a night, which is more than most couples spend on food and drink even at resort prices. Casa Dorada is the clearest case for room-only: it sits on Medano Beach, where restaurants and beach clubs are a short walk away, and it appears on our best hotels in Cabo San Lucas list as a room-only pick for exactly that reason.

What "all-inclusive packages" means here

Every price on this page is the resort's own all-inclusive rate: the room, meals and drinks for two adults. None includes flights. A package from a tour operator bundles airfare with a rate like these, so the useful comparison is to take the package price, subtract the airfare you would otherwise pay, and compare what is left against the live rates here.

Cabo San Lucas sits where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific, and the side of town a resort faces decides whether you can swim in front of it. Of these ten, three are on the calm side, two are on the Corridor, and five face the Pacific.

Medano Beach: the swimmable three

Pueblo Bonito Rose, Pueblo Bonito Blanco and Casa Dorada are on Medano Beach, the sheltered bay beside the marina. Guests at both Pueblo Bonito properties specifically praise being able to get into the sea, and one Rose guest called Medano "the only beach where you can swim". This is also the only part of town where you can walk to restaurants and the marina, which makes an all-inclusive plan less necessary. The Pacific side: views, not swimming

The Ridge, Playa Grande and Solmar share the Land's End coast, and Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach and Hard Rock face the open Pacific farther west. Guests at Playa Grande and Solmar describe strong currents and a beach not fit for swimming, and guests at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach and Hard Rock say the same. Book these for the pools and the sunsets.

The Corridor: hillside resorts

Grand Fiesta Americana sits at Km 10.3 in Cabo del Sol, where one guest described a small snorkel area and shallow water for wading. El Encanto at Km 7.3 is set on a hillside above the ocean; one guest noted it is on the ocean but not beachfront, and the resort runs golf carts on call around the grounds.

Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos

Rated 9.2/10 across 925 guest reviews, Grand Fiesta Americana is the strongest combination of score and review volume among Cabo San Lucas all-inclusives, and our pick overall. It sits on a hillside at Km 10.3 of the Corridor in Cabo del Sol, and guests score it 9.6 for service and 9.6 for food, which is the category that decides whether an all-inclusive is worth it. Reviewers name the El Mexicano restaurant, the buffet staff and the Grand Club lounge again and again. From $337 per night for two all-inclusive, rising to $571 on our mid-November date, and its all-inclusive rate was cheaper than its own room-only rate on all five dates. Of its 60 most recent reviews, 56 scored 10 out of 10 and none scored below 8. The two recurring criticisms are mild: there is less entertainment and fewer activities than at some other resorts, which one guest flagged for families with children, and rooms could use small updates such as more power outlets. It has a kids' club. We'd book this for couples and families who want excellent food and service over a busy activity schedule.

The Ridge at Playa Grande

Rated 9.4/10 across 215 guest reviews, The Ridge has the highest guest score of any all-inclusive in Cabo San Lucas and a perfect 10 for service. It is the upscale section of the Playa Grande complex at Land's End on the Pacific side, a short taxi ride from downtown. Guests describe spacious, clean rooms, a pool with a slide, and an adults' pool with personal service. Of its 60 most recent reviews, 59 scored 10. From $384 per night for two all-inclusive, and its all-inclusive rate undercut its room-only rate on all five dates. It ranks second rather than first because 215 reviews is a much smaller base than Grand Fiesta Americana's 925: on our weighted score it comes out at 9.05 against 9.10. Two things to know: the beach is on the Pacific, where guests at the neighbouring Playa Grande describe currents too strong to swim, and guests at Playa Grande describe persistent timeshare sales calls to their rooms. We'd book this for anyone who puts service first.

El Encanto at Hacienda Encantada

Rated 9.2/10 across 302 guest reviews, El Encanto is a hillside resort at Km 7.3 in Cabo del Sol, sold all-inclusive only. It had the steadiest price of any resort in the top ten, $282 to $324 per night for two on the four dates it priced, while most resorts here swung by several hundred dollars. Service scores 9.7 and room quality 8.7, its lowest category. The views get the praise: one guest described sitting by the pool all afternoon looking over the ocean, and the resort runs golf carts on call. It is on the ocean but not beachfront. The complaints in its lower reviews are about service: long check-in queues, a one-hour wait for the airport shuttle, and inattentive staff in some reviews. The most recent reviews we could read date from late 2025, so check current reviews before booking. We'd book this if you want a fixed, predictable all-inclusive price.

Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach

Rated 9.0/10 across 1,060 guest reviews, Sunset Beach posts perfect 10s for service and overall experience and a 9.8 for cleanliness, on the second-largest review base in the top ten. It is a large hillside resort on the Pacific west of town, with golf, and guests praise the grounds and the views. From $285 per night for two all-inclusive on our mid-December date, but it swung to $722 in February, one of the widest ranges here. Location scores 7.0, and it is the main complaint: the resort is remote and not walkable, and guests rely on the resort's shuttles, with waits. You cannot swim in the ocean. Reviews also mention air-conditioning failures, a slow refund, inconsistent food, and timeshare sales pitches; one guest advised declining the sales breakfast unless you are open to buying. Its guests can use the other Pueblo Bonito resorts on Medano Beach, a shuttle ride away. We'd book this for a big-resort week where you rarely leave the property.

Pueblo Bonito Rose

Rated 9.0/10 across 676 guest reviews, Pueblo Bonito Rose is the cheapest resort in the top ten at $240 per night for two all-inclusive, and one of three on Medano Beach, where you can swim. Location scores 9.8, and service and food both 9.6. Guests like the walk to the marina, the beach, and being able to use the sister Blanco and Sunset Beach resorts. Its all-inclusive rate was cheaper than its room-only rate on all five dates. The weak spots are the rooms: cleanliness and room quality both score 8.0, and guests mention musty smells, air-conditioning problems and dated furniture. Drinks draw criticism too, including one guest who called the margaritas terrible, and another said the resort has only one all-inclusive restaurant. It has a kids' club. It ties with Hard Rock at 8.94 on our weighted score and edges ahead on its slightly larger review base. We'd book this for the best-value all-inclusive on a swimming beach.

Hard Rock Hotel Los Cabos

Rated 9.0/10 across 673 guest reviews, Hard Rock is the family pick, with perfect 10s for cleanliness, service and food and a kids' club, kids' pool and playground. It sits in the Diamante development on the Pacific, about 7 km from town. From $478 per night for two all-inclusive, and its all-inclusive rate matched or undercut room-only on every date. Location scores 6.5: the beach is not swimmable, guests report a no-Uber policy on property, and taxis into town are expensive. One reviewer wrote that timeshare owners had reserved most of the loungers at the main pool, and another that perks were tiered by wristband. Casa Dorada Los Cabos

Rated 9.0/10 across 537 guest reviews, Casa Dorada is five-star on Medano Beach, where you can swim, with 9.8 for service and for location. It is on this list because it sells an all-inclusive plan, but it is the one resort here where we would usually skip it: the plan cost $369 to $575 per night for two, $202 to $213 more than its room-only rate on every date, and food is its weakest category at 7.8. With restaurants and beach clubs a short walk away, most couples will spend less than the $202 to $213 a night the plan adds. Guests also mention hot open-air public areas, an ageing building and a hard sell from the tour desk.

Playa Grande Resort

Rated 8.5/10 across 353 guest reviews, Playa Grande is the larger sister of The Ridge at Land's End, with a kids' club and playground. Its all-inclusive plan is the most expensive relative to its room rate of any resort we checked: $594 to $837 per night for two, about three times the room-only price. Food is its weakest category at 7.2, and guests say food and drink prices are high if you are not on the plan. Reviews also mention renovation noise, strong surf that rules out swimming, air-conditioning that would not cool below 25°C, and repeated timeshare calls to the room. We'd book this room-only, and most people should.

Solmar Resort

Rated 8.5/10 across 1,151 guest reviews, Solmar is the most-reviewed resort in the top ten, on the Pacific at Land's End beside its newer sister Grand Solmar. Its all-inclusive plan cost $244 to $360 per night for two, roughly double the room-only rate. Guests praise the staff, the upkeep and the food, which scores 8.8. Amenities are its weakest category at 7.5, and the recurring complaints are dated rooms, currents that keep guests out of the sea, one guest's third-floor room with no elevator, and timeshare pitches, including a free sunset dinner cruise offered as the opener. We'd book this for a budget Land's End stay, and decide on the plan based on how often you will eat in town.

Pueblo Bonito Blanco

Rated 8.4/10 across 672 guest reviews, Blanco sits on Medano Beach next to its sister Rose, and guests can use both, plus Sunset Beach. Location scores 9.2, and guests like walking straight from the pool to a beach where they can swim. It is sold almost entirely all-inclusive: room-only appeared on only one of our five dates, when it cost $105 a night more than the all-inclusive rate. From $254 per night for two, but $810 in February. Cleanliness and rooms both score 7.7, the lowest in the top ten, and guests describe a dated building, weak air conditioning, a pool that needed cleaning, and one guest reported cockroaches. Another was asked for a 4,000-peso deposit at arrival despite having prepaid. Rose scores higher and was cheaper on four of our five dates, so we'd book Rose and choose Blanco when Rose is full.

None of the top ten is adults-only, which surprised us. Our search turned up three adults-only all-inclusives in Cabo San Lucas, and each misses the ranking for a different reason:

• Riu Palace Baja California: rated 8.4/10 across 1,778 reviews, the best-reviewed adults-only all-inclusive in town, from $300 per night for two. It placed eleventh on our weighted score, just outside the ten, and it had the widest price swing we saw, up to $850 in mid-November. Guests praise the staff and the evening entertainment and criticise inconsistent food, low-end spirits and a party crowd on some weeks. It sits at the eastern end of Medano Beach, where some guests report they could not swim.
• Pueblo Bonito Pacifica: rated 8.7/10 across 594 reviews, with guests praising its restaurants and quiet adults-only atmosphere. It returned all-inclusive rates on only three of our five dates, $421 to $508 per night for two, which is below the four-date minimum we require to rank a resort. It is on the Pacific, and guests say there is no swimming in the ocean.
• Breathless Cabo San Lucas: rated 8.4/10 but across only 157 reviews, below our review floor. It sits by the marina at Medano, with a 9.6 for location, from $452 per night for two, and cleanliness and value both score 7.6.

Two alternatives: The Ridge at Playa Grande has a dedicated adults' pool, and if you do not need the all-inclusive plan, ME by Meliá on Medano Beach is the highest-rated adults-only hotel on our hotels list; our best hotels in Cabo San Lucas guide covers it.

Most resorts in the top ten take children, but they are not equally suited to them. What separates them is the kids' club, the pools and whether the beach is safe for children to swim at.

• Hard Rock Hotel Los Cabos: the strongest family programme here, with a kids' club, kids' pool and playground, and a perfect 10 for food. The beach is not swimmable, so the pools are the draw. From $478.
• Pueblo Bonito Rose: the family pick if you want a beach children can swim at. It has a kids' club, it is on Medano Beach, and one family described the beach as enjoyable for children and adults. From $240.
• Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos: a kids' club and kid-friendly buffet, and the best food here. One guest noted fewer activities than at some resorts, which matters more with children. From $337.
• The Ridge at Playa Grande: a kids' club and a pool with a slide, and a separate adults' pool for parents. From $384.

Many people searching for an all-inclusive in Cabo San Lucas start with the three Riu resorts, which together hold more guest reviews than any other group in town. On our weighted score they placed eleventh (Riu Palace Baja California, 8.46), twelfth (Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas, 8.45) and fifteenth (Riu Santa Fe, 8.26), so they sit just outside the top ten. That is a function of their scores, 8.2 to 8.4, rather than their size. All three are at the eastern end of Medano Beach, from $212 to $307 per night for two all-inclusive. • Check the beach before you book: Only Pueblo Bonito Rose, Pueblo Bonito Blanco and Casa Dorada are on Medano Beach, the calm swimming bay. At the Pacific-side resorts, the pool is where you swim.
• Sister-resort access can double your options: Pueblo Bonito guests can use the Rose, Blanco and Sunset Beach properties, and guests mention the shuttle between them. One Blanco guest said this makes up for a smaller restaurant choice at their own resort.
• Wristbands and tiers are common: Guests at Hard Rock and Pueblo Bonito Rose mention wristband systems, and at Hard Rock and Riu Palace Baja California some guests felt higher room categories got better treatment. Read what your room category includes.
• Drinks quality varies: House spirits are the most common drinks complaint, from weak margaritas at Pueblo Bonito Rose to low-end liquor at Riu Palace Baja California. Premium brands may cost extra.
• Expect a deposit at check-in even when prepaid: One Pueblo Bonito Blanco guest was asked for a 4,000-peso deposit on arrival despite paying in full, and Rose guests mention extra deposit requests. Budget for a card hold.
• Timeshare pitches are part of the landscape: Guests at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach, Playa Grande and Solmar all describe sales approaches, from free breakfasts to a free sunset dinner cruise offered as the opener. A polite no is enough.
• Arrange your airport transfer in advance: One El Encanto guest waited over an hour for the resort shuttle after landing. Our Los Cabos airport transfer guide compares private and shared options.
• Plan for taxis if you want to leave: The Pacific and Corridor resorts are not walkable to town, and guests at Hard Rock and Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach mention transport costs and waits. That is the real case for an all-inclusive plan: at a remote resort, you will eat most meals on site anyway.

Pueblo Bonito Rose from $240, Solmar from $244, Pueblo Bonito Blanco from $254, El Encanto from $282 and Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach from $285. Two of these five are on the swimmable Medano Beach.

$300 to $400 a night

Grand Fiesta Americana from $337, Casa Dorada from $369 and The Ridge from $384. This is where the top of our ranking sits: the two highest-scoring all-inclusives in town both start under $400.

Over $400 a night

Hard Rock from $478 and Playa Grande from $594. At Playa Grande most of that price is the plan itself, not the room.

When to book

Our mid-December check-in, ahead of the Christmas peak, was the cheapest of the five dates at seven of the ten resorts, and February was the most expensive at seven of the ten. The swings are large: Pueblo Bonito Blanco ran from $254 to $810 and Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach from $285 to $722. El Encanto was the exception, holding $282 to $324 on every date it priced. • Compare the all-inclusive and room-only rates at the same resort: At Grand Fiesta Americana, The Ridge, Hard Rock, Pueblo Bonito Rose and Pueblo Bonito Blanco, the plan cost no more than the room. At Playa Grande it tripled the price. The gap tells you whether the plan is worth it.
• Choose Medano if swimming matters: Pueblo Bonito Rose, Pueblo Bonito Blanco and Casa Dorada are the only resorts in the top ten on the calm bay.
• Read the food score, not just the overall: Food is the category that decides an all-inclusive. Grand Fiesta Americana and Pueblo Bonito Rose score 9.6; Playa Grande scores 7.2.
• Book mid-December or avoid February: Seven of the ten were cheapest on our mid-December date, and seven were most expensive in February.

Most lists of the best all-inclusive resorts in Cabo San Lucas rank on reputation and never tell you whether the plan is worth paying for. This one starts from verified guest reviews and live prices, and compares every resort's all-inclusive rate against its own room rate on the same dates.

We started from the 934 properties our reservation system lists within 12 km of the centre of Cabo San Lucas. We kept hotels and resorts with a guest score of at least 8.0 and at least 300 verified reviews, lowering that to 200 for five-star properties, and then kept only those that sold a genuine all-inclusive rate on at least four of our five dates. We merged a duplicate listing for Pueblo Bonito Blanco. That left fifteen resorts. Pueblo Bonito Pacifica (all-inclusive on three dates), Breathless (157 reviews) and Pueblo Bonito Montecristo (132 reviews) fell outside those rules. How the ranking is calculated

The order is set by a formula, with no editorial adjustments. Price, beach and board type shape what we say about each resort, but not where it ranks. Each resort gets a weighted score:

Weighted score = (reviews × guest score + 300 × 8.8) ÷ (reviews + 300)

Every resort starts as if it already had 300 reviews at a baseline score of 8.8, and its real reviews pull it away from that baseline. A resort with thousands of reviews ends up almost exactly at its own score; one with a couple of hundred is pulled toward the baseline, because a small sample reaches a high number more easily. Why Grand Fiesta Americana ranks above The Ridge's 9.4

The Ridge scores higher, 9.4 against 9.2, but on 215 reviews against 925. Through the formula, Grand Fiesta Americana comes out at 9.10 and The Ridge at 9.05. The Ridge's score is the higher one; Grand Fiesta Americana's is the better-evidenced one. If The Ridge holds its score as its reviews grow, it will overtake. Pricing was checked across five check-in dates in September 2026 and reflects two adults for three nights all-inclusive, before the local taxes and fees added at checkout.
